Children’s Liturgy of the Word
This is a program for children in grades K-3 during the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays. This program has been a very successful way for children to understand the readings and Gospel teachings. The children also take part in singing, Profession of Faith, and Prayers of the Faithful. This is a fun way to learn and praise God. Here’s how it works: Your family will find your seat in church. After Mass begins Father will call the children up to the altar and bless them before going to the altar server room with the facilitators. They will return during the Offertory. Children’s Liturgy does not take place on special occasions, holidays, and during the summer months of June, July and August. If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering please contact the Youth Ministry Office at 471-5364 EXT 115.
